I know the morale around Envoy is horribly low & you guys will probably blast me..my question is what are the chances it’s still this bad in the next 12-18 months?
From the outside looking in, you would think the agreement that management ripped up would eventually pass, right? Especially since the other two WO’s both received massive pay raises. Or am I totally ignorant on the subject?

Biggest problem with Envoy is a pervasive culture from management of antagonism against the pilots (and workers in general). Has been and probably always will be. This was demonstrated seven months ago when they came to the table demanding concessions before even talking about points they had already agreed to discuss.
If you look at the way the airline is run, the MOST important thing is blockout on time. Woe to you that is the reason a flight is late. Every section will track when things happen so that if it is late they can point the finger at someone else. Are there problems, yes. But the biggest part of the problem is unrealistic turn times because RJs (except the 175) don’t have room for anything bigger as carry on than small personal sized item. That means MOST carry ons have to be gate checked. Takes time. Pax are waiting in the jet bridge for their bags so can’t load the next flight. Is that any workers fault? No! There are things that can be done to help, but it comes back to unrealistic times because of the process itself. So everyone is under pressure to fix a problem they have very little control over. And if you’re the last one without a chair when the music stops, all fingers get pointed at you. It all comes back to culture which isn’t changing anytime soon.

Management is openly hostile and aggressive towards pilots. You are the source of all their problems, and not worthy of anything other than trash status.
That won't change until the people do. RN, RW, PF.

I think it will pass in time. How long and to what extent is anyone’s guess. I’ve said it before, it feels as though managment has a genuine disdain for us, so know that if you are coming here.

Commute issue
Listed myself for a flight for today. Checked in last night and saw I was number 1 on the list. Come to the gate today and I’m number 2. I figured the other person might have been bumped off an earlier flight. Thus being put in front of me on the list.
I recognize the person, long story short, I’ve had issues with this person specifically on another commute. Decide to look at the standby list on the previous flights today and it appears that any D2 should have gotten on.
Ive heard of ways to alter ones sign in time to bump them up the list. Anyway to confirm this? Or if it had been done?
