Not the worst. But contract aside, the culture is terrible. You shouldn’t have to literally screenshot everything (ie the fact you checked your HI6 once per day while on duty just to prove you checked it) just to cover your butt.
Inevitably CS will reassign you in the air and then give you a PG come MA when you’re sitting at your hotel room at the overnight, when you get a call and it’s the first you’ve heard of a RA.
I’ve seen this happen MANY times.
That’s just one of about 30 scenarios of crews getting in trouble for someone else’s screw up.

Almost everything dera says is bs unfortunately. It's too bad because he's a prolific poster and could provide a balanced view but he's so busy blowing rainbow-colored smoke to try to offset what he (as a lazy 175 FO who lives in Dallas w/ no ability to put himself in somebody else's shoes) sees as unjustifiably negative "whining" from the rest of us. Ironically, if dera landed a CRJ slot he'd probably be complaining more frantically than the rest of us combined.
The real thing that saves this place is the people you work with. Everyone, with very rare exception, is cool. You don't have to look at your trips and wonder if CA Soandso is a sociopath. Skills and experience levels vary a lot, but I've gotten paired with a jerk for exactly 4 days in my time here and even this guy was starting to come around by the time we set the parking brake for the last time. I might get booed for saying this, but some of the schedulers have a heart too. Management is a different story, obviously.

I'm only trying to bring up that this place really isn't the dumpster fire you guys see it as. I've said so many times I've already lost count that I'm on the 175 and my comments are only relevant for the 175 FOs. What you and many others always fail to do is to mention that your comments are only relevant for the 145 guys. As an FO, you don't get to experience both fleets so it's kinda hard to put on your shoes, I can only share my experiences. Sorry if it doesn't fit your agenda.
I agree about the people, that's another reason why I post here. Your posts make people think that we are a bunch of whiny kids who moan and b*tch about everything on the line. That really couldn't be farther from the truth. The CA "no-fly list" is very short, most guys are cool to fly with and are happy with the job, even though everyone knows we are lagging behind some of our peers in work rules and compensation.
I know it's easier to see me as a company troll or "RWs private ball washer" or whatever that was. But with posts like "EMPLOYEE MORALE AT AN ALL TIME LOW", I can only think it must have been pretty damn high at one point if this is low, because I don't see it being very low at the moment. Maybe it is in the E terminal but in B, it isn't.
In marketing they say, that you don't have to shout if you are talking sense. Hyperbolic shouting like "we have the WORST reserve rules" (we don't) or "we stay at the WORST hotels" (we don't) don't serve any purpose apart from taking away any credibility you had before. And yes, I've done a lost day in SGF, that one does suck. But then we have places like MSN, BJX, GJT, DCA etc that are actually decent.
Just stick with the facts, it's not hard. I'm sure some facts are different between the 145/175, but at least try to respect the fact that others might have different priorities than you do. Let the others judge what is more relevant to them, instead of just shouting over others.

As of now, we also don't have long wait times for class dates. Training is AQP and pretty decent, unfortunately the trend is lowering though - they are aggressively hiring PSI's, and most of them are pretty horrible. You will be given plenty of "study guides" to make sure you pass the written test and the SV (oral).
You bid for your sim slot during training, they don't do BS like Endeavor with their "dynamic scheduling" or whatever they call it(basically: you sit in your hotel room, waiting for a call to go do a sim. And sometimes you sit there for a week without that phone call).
If you have to commute, I would look at Republic. They have a pretty damn good package right now. If you need a class date earlier, Envoy is not a bad deal. If you get the 145, your first year experience won't be great.

That one is by far the worst management decision I've seen so far. The CA will likely get his job back, but the FO is hosed. No excuses for that one.
It's not unique for Envoy though, it happens elsewhere too. Remember the Skywest crew who got fired for a botched GA?

They are oxygen thieves (most of them).
Professional sim instructors. Basically off the street sim instructors that teach the first 2-3 Sim sessions. Then the actual instructors with experience on type and have flown the line have to undo all the damage the PSI’s did.

My favorite PSI quote so far was "you will bust your LOE if you use V/S. we NEVER use V/S in this airplane. Only FLCH".

No thought for the FO thy also owes back all the RTP money?
I’m sure you are yet to experience the intimidation that CS tries to put on crews to extend or be given a MA? I’m sure you will come back with ‘but you can fatigue’. True but you shouldn’t have to, and you also risk not getting paid by FT’ing.

Nobody has the right to decide how anyone else should feel about their job here. Characterizing unhappy 145 pilots as "whiny kids who ***** and moan about everything" from the right seat of the 175 while simultaneously admitting you know nothing about their experience is tasteless and unprofessional. I don't know or care whose balls you wash, but your attitude is fundamentally the same as management, and that much worse because you're supposed to be a pilot bro.
