The only thing you really know for sure is that they won't do anything proactive or visionary. They'll let us drown until the situation is totally untenable, real airlines stop hiring, or congress addresses the """"""SHORTAGE""""" of pilots willing to spend 25 days a month on the road for 30k a year by relaxing the 1500 hr rule or age 67.

There is really no point in debating it with you. Either you are a troll or a continual pessimist. The reality is neither one of us are professional airline industry expert and just spouting opinions, some perhaps based in some facts, but mostly opinions.
We are allowed to disagree and I simply say that in one year Envoy will still be around, still flying, and just adapting to the changes of the industry and economy.
Good luck to you in whatever it is you do. I'm done trying to convince you of my opinion, it is pointless really.

Is the lack of ORD again due to it not being offered or no one wanting it? I’ll guess the first, but I do know there have been many asking about getting to ORD and the longer it goes unoffered, the more it indicates shrinkage and the longer it will take those on the bottom to get.

Probably not offered. In the spring it was all ORD/MIA. Then they posted vacancies and needed tons of DFL. Now nobody is getting ORD

So with no one else getting ORD for now, what does that mean for a new hire about to get on reserve? I'm assuming reserve in ORD will be longer if no one else comes in behind me on the seniority list right?
Will DFW have a shorter reserve period now?
I'm trying to figure out if I should try to bid out of ORD when I can. The goal is to be based in either ORD or DFW and to get off reserve as soon as possible.
