Welcome back brah. Wishing you had bailed the SS Envoy a couple of years ago with me I'm betting. Said ship Envoy is taking on water faster than the remaining Capt and FOs can bail dude. Looks like the bow is sticking out of the water at a 45 and she's going under.

I was interviewed in February. Took about about month to get some final paperwork signed. Sent it in and about 2 days later got an email saying I was in a Class Pool. They stated they were redesigning their training program. I would get an email notifying me of my new class date with a 3 week reaction time.

20 EMJ Instructors/Check Airman were just given notice that they were being displaced back to the line effective May 1st. While the company hired exactly 20 PSIs over the last year.

So upgrades are going to be teaching PSI’s now? Interesting way of running a training department.

The sim instructors being displaced are also being told to have their 3* up to date by tomorrow for the vacancy bid. So that’s about 20 DFW positions getting picked up by senior guys. Sucks for junior CA’s trying to get back to DFW.

They are all senior enough to hold what ever they want.

He's saying there's less room in Dallas for other guys. 20 instructors and 20 vacancies on the line = 40 pilots in DFW, whereas 0 instructors and 20 vacancies = 20 pilots in DFW.

Meh...much like going for the vajay-jay vs the back door...it's ultimately a wash. It'll be nice seeing some of those faces back on the line..we could use their know-how. It'll suck losing them in the training center. One guy I know volunteered to get displaced, and he will be sorely missed in the training center.

If anyone had him for anything knows who I'm talking about. Cool guy..looks more like a ladies man than a pilot...let alone an instructor. Yeah...he's going back...but I think he's going to the 175. The bastard.
