I hope you are right. (I HOPE)Envoy can't continue to force upgrades through displacements. I really wish people would force the issue with bidding defensively. I also wish pilots wouldn't have to do it to make Envoy successful.

I don't know why anyone would proffer for a bid on this one unless you are already a captain. Company has shown it will uphold seniority FO to CA displacements. Gives pilots more options should a new airplane go to a base they want.

My guess is no vacancy bid. I have a feeling the last bid was the last one we will see for a while. If you go look at the latest flowplan, all the newhires that are eligible to upgrade are being awarded NCE immediately. They dont need to run another bid to “capture” the eligible upgrades. This cuts down on training bloat. This place has a knack for finding creative ways to stick it to the pilot group.

I'd have to quit if I was forced to RSV CA LGA based on personal health issues with the wife and her needing me home as much as possible. Considering the hardship route, but not sure how much of a PITA that will be since management is so hard up on bypassing the contract whenever possible, especially to force an upgrade.

~640 hr DFW 175 FO here. Bid reserve in Feb. Line bid in March for days off, but back to reserve for the foreseeable future...likely April through the end of summer or until things change. I'm guessing the forced upgrades will continue until something major happens, like AA absorbing Envoy.

The company won’t show any compassion!

I'm not married to Envoy. There are arguably better options out the for me right now. Especially since I live 20 min from IAH.

That's unfortunate, and I'm sorry it didn't work out. I should have known better than to even entertain the idea, but you never get what you don't ask for. Except for the negative stuff.
