I haven’t really seen too many lines with a lot of time at the end of the month. Is this standard for the way the lines are built and the carryover?

Any suggestions?
Depends on what base your in but if you have the passes you should be fairly senior in ORD, LGA, holding a decent line in DFW. Bid with at least 2-3 days off at the end of the month. Then look for a line with the first 3-7 days off. Usually there are about 30-35 per bid packet. So you could maybe hold it in DFW. For sure in ORD and LGA. Also trip trade. It can be done.

Thanks

Yes, fairly senior, that’s why I’m getting pushed over to the left seat in the next bid.

I think I will try to bid a line with the days off at the beginning of the month and then try to trade my last trip of the month to the beginning. I’ll just have to take a gamble on the first part of the next month and if I have to non rev back early then so be it.

What are the chances of getting DFW as a new hire?

Serious question because I have no idea, is there a regional airline where you can get DFW as a new hire?

I’d say you’re generally right, but I think the upcoming deliveries are probably causing the company to award slots now.

That may be part of it, but those 2016 hires that were given the option of DFW 175, and a lot took it, are coming up on their 1000 hours. There will be a lot of movement on DFW 175.
