There’s nothing in our ops manuals or contracts to prevent someone doing it. Not that I agree with it but the contract allows it. And thinly vailed threats by way of HI6 and red carpet dances didn’t end well recently.
Didn’t end well for who? Missed the memo.

This site is full of union filed grievances against the company for violations of the contract. But the union and pilot group independent of the union can show few examples of pushing the envelope for our needs.

I’m referring to the HI6 sent out by the manager regarding CA ADD.

That person was removed from their management position.

That’s what I’m getting at. Threatening the pilot group didn’t end well for them.

A grievance.... ooh no! In 2 years let me know the final ruling of the grievances. The union does not have the upper hand on the company right now. The company will continue to do what it wants when it wants. I don’t see a simple solution to the problems. As mentioned before more bases, more pay (even if just for captains, as incentives to upgrade), concrete flow language that cannot be “interpreted” how the company sees fit, better reserve rules, and better schedules would make a world of difference for the current pilot group and future new hires. But AAG and management seem not to want to give us any of those. There has to be a breaking point eventually. Until then, our pilot group is in a silent battle... the company’s future plans are a secret, negotiations are secret, when we reach out there are no answers, and the emails we get have no answers. Bottom line is that Moral is low and there has been zero good news to change it.

What is BS is seeing Skywest in Chicago, Mesa in Dallas, and Republic in Miami being awarded flying from AAG that can easily come to us here at Envoy. Even if we can’t staff it all becuse of the “CA shortage” then at least give your own people the best trips so we can make the best of our schedules. 72-76hr 13,14,15, and 16 day off lines are a joke. Every line should be built to an average of 85hrs.

What about us flying in CLT? PHL? Should that flying go to PSA and PDT? This is a regional airline business, not a thanksgiving dinner where family comes first. Get in, get out, move on to a non-regional airline.

No one seems to know the reason why we are doing more flying in CLT, PHL, BOS. Not sure what’s going on with the other WOs in regards to their staffing and schedules. I commented on what’s happening at Envoys main bases. And while everyone is complaining why not bring up why we have other regionals besides AA WOs getting flying awarded to them and we even have to share a crew from with them. What a slap in the face to lose flying to Skywest, Mesa, and Republic. Maybe they should have some thanksgiving dinner loyalty.

seems like we (psa) are spreading out 200s to LGA, DCA, PHL and CLT. I have no idea if they are in ORD at all, but there has been a change in CLT in the last few months with fewer 200 flying. Also seems like we are shifting more 700/900 flying to PHL. Things are changing slowly. Feels like the 140/5s from y'all and PDT are certainly in CLT more and more. I can't really speak to PHL as I haven't had a ton of flying through there. It would be nice to finally have AA figure out that the 900 wasn't made to do CLT- CAE 4 times a day. BUT who knows.
