Gather two letters of recommendation from an instructor, CKA, and/or CP, apply for the position, get selected for an interview, then get hired if they feel you're a good fit.

Three options.
1. Havick206 said it
2 hardship request to the CPO which hardly ever happens
3. I forgot what it's called but essentially it's through the union and you put in a request to transfer and if another FO puts in a request to transfer from NY to MIA then they match you up.

How senior is MIA currently for FO? How long to hold it? Any word on the E175 having a MIA base any time soon?

#3 has a lot of nuts and bolts to it, there are a few Mia FO’s regretting the move to Mia from LGA and tried the inter domicile transfer through the union but i don’t think any were iligeble for one reason or another.

Basically your only realistic option is to bid back next vacancy bid.

Interesting.... I figured it would be pretty easy to get back there seeing others from LGA are trying to get to MIA. I bet many don't know that the option for the MIDT exists.

Essentially he is guaranteed LGA 145 as long as they are hiring into 145 LGA. He will just have to wait for the next vacancy. I hope they start doing bids more frequently.

I hear a lot FOs are having remorse about leaving LGA.

I'm looking to transfer up there this summer if it's going to be as bad as they say.
