The union has been sending out an email with the preliminary bid results. I see it is up on the union site as well as the company, but still no official word. Hard Lemonade said the 145 instructors weren’t on it. Just curious if there is something else going on.

The pre-lim is exactly that, the final bid award will be out in a couple of days with any changes that reflect errors or other factors that come into play overlooked or otherwise. Pretty standard given the process is still done by hand.

The 145 instructors may be in addition to the latest vacancy bid, or part of it. We don't know yet. If they are a part of it..there are about 15 DFW 175 CAs who are just being cokc teased right now. If the instructors are additional numbers to the vacancy..then it's like an orgy at an Asian massage house. Everybody gets a piece.

I was told today the official stuff will be out in a couple of days.

Buddy who is a Instructor told me that May 1st they were going to place the instructors at whatever base their seniority could hold.I think because they are still part of the flight training department they cannot hold a bid status

They can displace any base/seat/equipment their seniority can hold. If they chose the 175, then they go back to the 145 on May 1st until their training date. The most junior instructor is senior to the most junior DFW 175 CA. So if all instructors chose the 175 that's where they're going...

I spoke with 4 instructors who are going back to the line. All 4 are going to the 175 DFW. Its safe to say that most if not all the other 11 are doing the same.

I will most likely have my captain time in the next few months so the next bid will most likely allow me to get captain. If I bid for CA in my own base and currently there is many captains junior to me there, could I potentially force one of them out of my base when I upgrade?

If and only if you displace/proffer to displace to it. But yes you could.
