675+495= 1170.

On average 13 pilots senior to you must leave for a six year flow to occur.
I see that number as very feasible as majors and LCC’s continue to ramp up hiring.

The HVA $45K marketing blitz has been out for months. Is it premature to call it a bust?

I think the window to bring experiences 121 pilots from AW, XJET is closing much too quickly for us to catch up. Obviously HVA program not going as planned. A spade is a spade. HVA program appears to be a huge dud; and DOA. Seems for months not many have taken the bait, and participants/NH’s entering as HVA is actually decreasing to 0 per class.

Could they up the ante to a $55K HVA bonus???Sure. But that will only show current pilots on property how the company views us. We we’ve already taken notice.

LVA,

With Endeavor classes being full till winter I wouldn’t be surprised to see y’all start to get some more xjet refugees trickling in.

Keyword "Trickling" not nearly enough to fill the hole management continually is digging deeper into.

LVA,
Let me tell you the problem with HVA's, well at least this one. Being based in LGA Period. Since I have over 2500 121 SIC, I don't mind being upgraded right away. In fact, I would love it. What I don't want is the E145 in a base (LGA) that truly sucks, and than sit short call reserve.
I don't need the money, so give me the 175 in DFW, and sign me up. For me, it is about not having to commute and QOL. I think it is time to pass on my upcoming class date.

LVA,
I'd give a couple more months before drawing a definite conclusion. Maybe even four more months. Between that and summer staffing, I'm personally betting $5 on pay raise Septemberish

I’m sure management would absolutely love to give you a DFW 175 CA spot! The only problem is that people who have put in the time on this seniority list want those spots and have first right to them. Put in the time, and you can earn that spot as well.

I love this new mentality that new people should get on day one what others have worked years for.

I’ve had this discussion with some recruiters. Most of them understand it’s no longer about the money. It’s that nobody wants to go to rsv in LGA period, no water what bonus they offer. Supposedly company is working on options to get people to upgrade to LGA or hire into it. One option tossed around has been a TDY set up.

I received my ALPA number in 2000 while you were still probably in grade school, so that rings hollow with me!
