Here's a good one. If you are sitting standby and are given a turn then come back and are given additional flying that should be coded as an R1. We had a captain win a grievance over that. The contract language says given additional flying with no reference to rap or standby or anything. Just additional flying.

It's worthwhile anymore since we are staffed well. They always have a standby available to throw any additional turnback on it seems. We can't get rid of that portion of the contract for local reserves it's the only way to get home sometimes.

Reserve rules
False. Depends on seat/equipment.
Example: ORD CRJ CA = poorly staffed. Many line CA’s being sent to school house for right seat qualifications/training. Not happening for Embraer fleets.
