Endeavor and Republic?

It is pathetic to argue about what regional jet is better. I fly the 900, it's a great plane. I'd rather fly a 175, I like it better based on what I've seen and after a few thousand hours it'd be fun to change it up. However, if you are making a decision of which carrier to work for and 175 vs 900 vs 200 factor into it AT ALL, you just don't get it. Pay, QOL, stability. Those are the factors. Underwing vs tail time is a non existent category. Grow up.

This is true. The 700/900 performs better and do in fact have better fuel economy. There's a reason every 700/900 operator flys a good bit faster than 170/175 operators.

My point is that chasing strechy, shiny jets is more dubious than chasing upgrade. Every time I see this, I cringe. I have also been saying to people who are going to the CRJ operators to think twice about choosing the 700 or 900 over a 200 just because they are perceived to be cool.
I also am hoping employees of places like RAH, who have a troubled history with management, are treated better going forward. However, management is smart enough to know that dangling "cool" jets has power.

Had I not left the two mistakes (even though you only caught one), you'd have no reason to come back to me and ask me to come at you. :O)
No, it doesn't really matter which jet (well, maybe drop the 200, it really is getting long in the tooth). What matters is 1000, and beyond that, maybe some TPIC.

Well that got out of hand fast. Some people get super offensive over some sarcasm.
I just threw the E170 line in there as a caveat. Not saying 900 isn't a nice plane but I'd rather fly the 170 and not have to sit in line for 2 years waiting to fly a 900.

Republic isnt bad. Never sat a day of reserve in my time here. I have 15 days off this month. I usually credit around 95 hours with about 78 hours block time. Any time you are are asked to pick up you can get a feee hotel and deadhead to base if needed plus its at 150% pay. Classes are full through like March of 2016 and continuing to fill. Plus you get to fly the E175 which is far superior to other regional aircraft.
If you have any specific questions let me know.
Not saying endeavor is bad but I've enjoyed my time at Republic.

Not that anyone cares but this is why pilots are our own worst enemies.
While there are 145 FOs who are stuck on RSV for 2-3 yrs, here come brand new FOs that get better pay, more days off, and bonus signing pay getting lines out of IOE on the shinny 175. I wish this was some sick joke but it's not....

Where would you be waiting in line for 2 years to fly a 900? Certainly not Endeavor where new hires have a line within 4 months of starting class.

If you look on the homepage for Airlineapps it lists which companies use it. Not all airlines use that website
