Upgrade time is on the quick drop. Growing fleet and attrition means upgrade time will be under two years. Next year at the end of 2016 you will see early 2015 upgrades happening.

So please tell me what I am missing?
There are too many things to list - we aren't fortunetellers just go to wherever you can easily commute to and where you think the doors won't close in the next year. The industry will not support the current number of regional airlines for much longer - make an educated guess/gamble and hope that you don't have to start over at another regional.

You're not missing anything. Lots of places claim quick upgrades, but look for airlines that are growing - without that, upgrades will crawl. 9E is touting at least 17 added shells in 2016, plus $159,000 base for the first three years before upgrade - based off 75 hr/mo, $30/hr, $3k training bonus, $20k 1st year retention ($23k retention each year after). When I do the math on comparable WO airlines, SkyWest, and Republic, the numbers are pretty interesting:

First Three Years Base Against Guarantee (includes any bonus/retention)
Endeavor - $159,000 (50k includes bonus/retention, 52.7k includes retention, 56.3k includes retention)
Envoy - $92,300 (28.4-33.4k includes 5-10k bonus, 30.6k, 33.3k)
PSA - $92,300 (26.6k includes 5k bonus, 31.5k, 34.2k)
Piedmont - $90,900-$94,383 (22.5-25.9k, 32.4k, 26k)
SkyWest - $103,056-$110,556 (27.3k up to 34.8k with type rating, 36.4k, 39.2k)
Republic - $111,600 (with no previous type rating), $119,100 for E175 experience (includes $7,500 signing bonus), $126,600-$131,600 for EMB145 experience (includes $15-20k type rating bonus - 36/43.5/51-56k, 36.9k, 38.9k)

Yes, all these numbers go up 40% and more with upgrades, but if money - and paying down debt - is your priority, there's definitely one place that stands out if you want to earn some good coin in your first three years. Good luck with your decision!

I've flown with guys that make that commute. They all say it's not too bad.
BOS-LGA has the Delta and American Shuttle flights, which aside from Saturday, Sunday and Holidays operates every hour.
BOS-JFK has an earlier flight in the morning than LGA but also has several flights a day. Overall it seems like one of the easier commutes. At least as far as commuting options go.

Do you know about the "super seniority list" for Ready Reserve? That most likely would allow you to commute in same day...

Default Endeavor Air TA voted in, $50K 1st year

Hey guys sorry if I'm asking something already asked. I've sifted through and searched to no avail. What's the word on Endeavor getting EFBs? Also, any CVG commuters on the forum? Looking to get an idea of the commute between CVG-DTW and CVG-New York bases. Does having the double whammy of LGA and JFK make the commute easier? No 121 experience yet so sorry if I'm asking a stupid question here

Word is EFBs by the end of 2016. I don't commute, but I know we operate quite a bit if flights out of CVG, so it should be a one leg commute to any of our bases.
