If I was just starting out in this industry, I'd say so. Given my options, and the future earnings of what I could make at DAL...I'd say this would get me through. Granted, in three years, this regional landscape could be completely flipped on its head. Where were we three years ago to now?

yeah, because it's all about that 1st year LOL. Spirit's Y2 is $72, Y3 is $78; JetBlue Y1 is $49, Y2 is $75 on the E190; Frontier Y1 at $39, Y2 at $64, Y3 at $73.

Why needing to use temporary bonuses (with suppositions/promises/expectation of extensions) instead of a per hour guaranteed with monthly guaranteed minimum. Are you going to tell your mortgage company to wait every 3 months for the Endeavor's bonus to backpay your last 2 mortgages?

Comparing Endeavor Y1 to a job at some LCCs is very immature or just a recruiter bs.

Built your hours at E9 and run to the LCCs whenever you can make the cut or keep waiting for a "guaranteed" interview with mainline with no guarantee of being hired.

Let's stick to comparing oranges with oranges, in the regional market, E9 is a top choice when it comes to Y1 income. No question about that.

I know that being at an LCC is better than a regional. I'm just making an observation to the fact that regional pay is creeping up, and in this instance surpasses some LCC for that first year.
I sure wish I was a new hire for these times. Basically need a pulse and you can go anywhere you want, with bonuses.
5-10 years ago you were considered lucky just to get a job that pays 20k at a regional.

I'm not a recruiter for 9E, just thinking that its good for the industry and a step to people actually making money at the regional level.

They need to convert the bonuses to an hourly wage and give a guaranteed progression to Delta. The time is right to push for these two things.

How long is the current wait from accepting the job offer to a training class?

1-4 weeks would be my guess. Depends on when you interview and your preference for type. But they're doing 2 classes a month and they generally fill up about 2-3 weeks prior. (The latest class of 4-5 is the exception due to its timing over the holiday.)

I believe it can be as quickly as you can make yourself available. I saw a video on the 9E Facebook page that talked about how they give you a CJO and select class date at the same time. So, if there's slots, you can likely start as soon as you want. Good luck!

Why can't he state his opinion about the new TA? Are you a 07 hire holding 17 days off in the left of a 900?

It's okay to have an opinion and voice it. This TA helped many, but also did nothing for others. Will it get better???yes, but short term is still tough for some of us. We have the right to ***** and complain...WE EARNED IT😂

Correct. When I interviewed I had a few hours to go, so I had a class six weeks out. For others who have their time, it can be closer, and they'll offer to move people forward if slots open up.
