Yes, but as a new hire you get $20,000 retention bonus for your first year. It goes up to $23,000 every year after that until the end of 2018.

Many of the people who loose the "coin toss" did not prepare for the interview, prepared yet go into the interview with the idea that it should be a "hand shake" interview and are annoyed that they have to answer questions to get hired, or honestly are just not Delta material. The folks who want to be a Delta pilot, who are grateful to have the interview, and prepare for a real interview seem to be getting hired at a much better than coin toss rate. Once in a while I talk to a pilot who has been turned down that makes me wonder what happened, but most of the time it is obvious why someone didn't get the job.

First year you will make 50K and increase every year thereafter. Pay is not "decent" for a regional airline, it is the best in industry, unless you are one of dwindling number of 7 year FO's who haven't yet been offered an upgrade (but will upgrade in a year or less), or are a 12+ year captain.

Right out if training for most. Especially if you go to a -200 class.

I wouldn't candy coat the situation at Endeavor and as for the interview process, it is just your opinion and it happens to be dead wrong!

Think about the 900 class. What do you think the odds are of getting DTW out of training?

You are wrong. Some people didn't get hired because they just didn't interview well. Not everyone gets hired no matter the level of preparation. Bad breath, wrong answer, just not a good fit. Sorry you didn't get it, K, neither did I. Not everyone off the street does either, and they were called based on what DL is looking for. They had to interview us. It makes sense that less of us would get hired than off the street.

every single person in the mid November class got their first choice, except 1 person wanted LGA and got JFK. Even MSP out of the gate is going junior in the classes. Hope that helps in your decision making! 50k as a first year FO is unheard of. Endeavor has made a complete 180 and almost everyone is happy

If you want MSP or DTW big the 200, if you want JFK/LGA bid the 900. IMO this is the best way to get where you want to be. Don't get hung up on the plane, they're both essentially the same plane.

Current 900 class is all New York.
