you just have no way of knowing if the interview will be successful. the pass rate is so bad many have "coined" the term "its a coin toss" to describe the possible success at the Delta Guaranteed Interview. Pay is decent for a regional and Endeavor is a good place to work,
First year you will make 50K and increase every year thereafter. Pay is not "decent" for a regional airline, it is the best in industry, unless you are one of dwindling number of 7 year FO's who haven't yet been offered an upgrade (but will upgrade in a year or less), or are a 12+ year captain.

Many of the people who loose the "coin toss" did not prepare for the interview, prepared yet go into the interview with the idea that it should be a "hand shake" interview and are annoyed that they have to answer questions to get hired, or honestly are just not Delta material. The folks who want to be a Delta pilot, who are grateful to have the interview, and prepare for a real interview seem to be getting hired at a much better than coin toss rate. Once in a while I talk to a pilot who has been turned down that makes me wonder what happened, but most of the time it is obvious why someone didn't get the job.

You are wrong. Some people didn't get hired because they just didn't interview well. Not everyone gets hired no matter the level of preparation. Bad breath, wrong answer, just not a good fit. Sorry you didn't get it, K, neither did I. Not everyone off the street does either, and they were called based on what DL is looking for. They had to interview us. It makes sense that less of us would get hired than off the street.

every single person in the mid November class got their first choice, except 1 person wanted LGA and got JFK. Even MSP out of the gate is going junior in the classes. Hope that helps in your decision making! 50k as a first year FO is unheard of. Endeavor has made a complete 180 and almost everyone is happy
