Did you ever have an ID that said "Pinnacle" or pay check that said "Pinnacle" ? If so, say what you want but you were at Pinnacle pilot at one point. It doesn't matter where you came from

As of this last week, we are (-2) on the overall pilots coming into Endeavor, that's not too bad given the state of the regional airline industry and with pilots finally starting to move to Delta. Another problem is the quality of applicants, lots of pilots are failing out of training.
What's your definition of "lots"?

We can play the "source" game. We gain, what "44"? What is the "loss" definition as it's still a positive number?

It's still positive.

You can run the math, I'm still seeing the end result. It's net positive. Movement is a good thing.... For each pilot in seemingly every base.

But I digress, with only good news...fun to argue on a message board...

Thoughts, observations.??? I mean shoot, we still have not hit peak legacy retirements!!
Peak retirements happen around 2020 right? As for your idea about the regionals.... At some point in time the cost of running a regional with everything you described will surpass the savings of outsourcing the pilots to begin with. I believe the regional airlines will be folded into their parent companies eventually. Sure they will have to pay pilots more but they won't have to worry about finding/training them. With over 18,000 regional pilots, and thousands of LCC pilots I don't think Delta is feeling any pressure, they just keep trying to inject adrenaline in a dying horse knowing that it will eventually die.

The rate is actually below 9 percent for the calendar year and has been improving with every class.

I was referencing the failure rate with new hires in training, not net pilot churn.

FWIW, I've heard that in the last few months, the quality of the applicants has gone up considerably.
