Excuuuussse me!?!?!? I never have and never will call myself a"Pinnacle" pilot. I was acquired, not hired.

Avroman has a good point. I was Mesaba (remember, not Pinnacle) with flow rights back in the day. Never had the chance to take advantage of it since they canceled it. I never understood why Compass got to keep the flow but Mesaba didn't. I suppose it has to do with Trenary and his brilliant idea to integrate all three airlines.

Let Avroman do what he wants. Just because you don't like me doesn't mean he doesn't .

Don't know you other than what you post on here. And in my opinion, you come across as a bitter person that's on a mission to talk people out of going to Endeavor. Am I wrong? Secondly, I only asked Avroman a question. I don't have the power over him to stop him from engaging you on this forum. I do agree that it sucks that the two flow agreements were honored differently from Delta, but how long do you want to be mad about it?

Alaska, we lost the flow because our MEC chairman at the time, MN, went down to ATL, made a bunch of demands, and Delta balked. After 6 weeks of negotiations, he hilariously released a letter saying we had no leverage, and lost it. Last time I checked, a negotiation that has no leverage on one side doesn't last 6 weeks. Oh well, he got to flow.

No, uSSP is the subcompact version. SSP is the compact, and the regular 2-day interview is the full size.

It's another last ditch effort to attract pilots. Regionals are dead in the water.

It might actually end up doing the exact opposite, kinda like the original ETD.

They were getting plenty of new hires even without this addition. I doubt it will play that big of a factor either way.

Only time will tell, I hope it works and brings in all the pilots we need. However, we are not getting "plenty" of pilots, trust me, I know this first hand. The overall pilot pool is drying up. As of this last week, we are (-2) on the overall pilots coming into Endeavor, that's not too bad given the state of the regional airline industry and with pilots finally starting to move to Delta. Another problem is the quality of applicants, lots of pilots are failing out of training.

Do you or anyone else know if we are close to seeing the regional industry move to another level of pilot recruitment? It seems like we are in step 1 with bonuses, flows, guaranteed interviews. In my mind step 2 would invlove some or all of the following; buying GA aircraft to finish pilot hours/brush up IFR skills, paying significant parts of flight training costs(sponsorships), partnering with 135 operators to flow through pilots to RJs, and maybe the FAA capitulating on the ATP law....Maybe step three is the demise of regionals as we know it-i.e., the RJ you fly is no longer "operated by XXX" you really ARE the mainline that is painted on the side.. Thoughts, observations.??? I mean shoot, we still have not hit peak legacy retirements!!
