Express Jet CA on jump seat today said they have been told there 200s will be gone by September.

On a side note he was not bitter toward Endeavor. Frustration was with SW. We should all hate to see another good regional take a hit, but it is the regional business model-unfortunately.

We are just getting even for them taking our PQs

No one gets even with anyone when fellow regional pilots lose their planes nor their jobs. And it's not like we are taking anything from them. We are just getting what Delta is pushing on us. We control neither the numbers nor from where they come.

As much as I would like to see those come back on property, I would rather not see a good group like XJT gutted.

Glad they understand we aren't controlling this though and it's SkyWest Inc. screwing them.

I know. I'm just bullshizzing. I've been blowing smoke in sympathy on their thread for a while as well. It's all just a travesty.

XJT is a good group.

18 CRJ-700 orders? Who wants to bet the 200s get retired sooner than we expect?

HighFlight 01-10-2017 06:14 PM

All of EDV knows about 14 more 200s coming this year. But you are the only person I know of that thinks 18 700s are coming. Care to share the source?

Question on deadhead to live flight below the minimum connection time. I was under the impression that the list of approved "less than minimum connection time" deadheads were created because the would not involve a plane change. Is that not the case, or was someone making BS up when talking about it?

I think the pbs committee email is on the fastreads for quality information. Of course I'm sure someone could make it up on here for you.
