Note that ATL is listed but I am not saying it's a base. I listed it to show where the flights are shifting to/from.

CRJ200 Network
FEB MAR
ATL 47 157
MSP 710 933
DTW 984 1508
LGA 640 590
JFK 828 794

CRJ900 Network
FEB MAR
ATL 170 218
MSP 737 901
DTW 775 766
LGA 1569 1696
JFK 1098 1503

Looks to me like MSP and DTW are growing. At least short term.

January and February are generally the slowest months too, and March picks up a lot for spring break, hard to read to far into that

From whence did ye acquire this data?

That's true.

Hypothetically all our -200s leave NYC by the end of the year as advertised. Where does that leave the upgrade time? I imagine it would go up with more DTW/MSP -900 shrinkage and more guys commuting out to NYC for the heavy jet.

Don't forget ATL. They will likely pull 200's out of NY for ATL, and move 900's into NY to replace them. But probably can't move enough 200s out of NY at one time, so the 200s will come from all three bases to fill ATL, I would guess.

ATL is not a sure bet, only a "southern base"
New rumor is an RDU base - hot off the press

JFK Descent Planning

I generally describe it as 'Cross LGA at F190. Open the window and throw out a brick'
Follow it down.
An ASALT on the senses? :-)

I just done see how it can be anything but Atlanta. Someone has to cover the loss of fights from Express Jet 200. I guess you hypothetically could cover it from anywhere but that would mean a lot of Atlanta overnights and that doesn't seem like a good business decision. Perhaps I have blinders on because I'd like to see an Atlanta base. For all we know there may not be a new base - what would we have to post about if it wasn't rumors and grievances.
