La Quinta is fine. See plenty of crew (mainline and RJ) and the staff are accommodating. Can walk to the Walmart and other restaurants. Rooms were clean and not far from the airport. Rate was fine. Had quite a few of us there last year while temporarily MSP based. No complaints.

RG and JD came into recurrent today, apparently the first 200 is coming in tomorrow with another before month's end. They seem content with the 14 for this year as that is all they think we will be able to handle as far as hiring/training. The timeline is to have the first half delivered by may and then the other half start back up at the end of summer. New base seems to be announced soon and he kind of slipped saying we'd be operating out of another hub so I think this atl base is about as solid of a rumor as I've ever heard. They tried to put the 14 in our current route system but couldn't fit them in and DL couldn't lose them in the south. RG did say though that these will be the last 200s we take, it will be all 2 class next year and beyond.

Seems that 700/900s are immediately on the table for next year and e jets are at least a year and half before they start to even talk about them again. Expect NYC to not have 200s by the end of the year and movement of 900s from dtw/msp to NYC to replace them. Dtw/msp shrinkage/ NYC buildup is not done unfortunately, although it seems to be nearing end but they said they don't even know when the buildup is going to stop for sure. A lot of this obviously depends on hiring and if we hire better than expected then they will definitely be looking into more frames sooner if we can staff them.

I think the "P" is Delta code for Pinnacle. Just like Expressjet flies the "CAJ" where the "A" stands for "ASA". And SkyWest flies the "CJS" with an "S" for SkyWest. Just like the "M" in CM9 is for "Mesaba". Lots of not updating their codes.

Wow, great insight from crjscum. Thanks from here as well - Sounds promising! What was the general consensus in the room after the visit?
