so basically all the oldest 200s not bought by Comair...

Some of the EVs came off the line in 2005, so similar to the AYs we have.

What did you expect, factory fresh 200s?

Thankfully no, those atrocities haven't been built since 2005.

I'd bet Delta is more cheesed off with Compass at taking on flying for other airlines while still being headquartered out of Delta owned buildings in MSP. We (Mesaba) flew out of LAX for a while as part of our SLC days and it didn't seem to be much of an issue though perhaps slightly underblocked. I'd welcome a return there over more LGA silliness. At least it'd be a bit warmer at the least.

I bet you Delta knew Compass would expand their horizons after selling them. I doubt Delta expected them to be exclusive to them after the sell. Delta could just say NO on a lease renewal at the HQ if they were so cheesed for taking on more flying from American. Be careful what you wish for with the LAX stuff. The flying be great but the operations are the worst I've ever seen (on the Delta side). I've done flying on both coasts and I'd pick LGA over LAX from a pure operations perspective.

CTP coming up at CAE. Any thoughts on the value or knowledge gained from the course? New to 121, but I've heard mixed reviews from peers at other regionals on the CTP as a whole. Would it be worth doing the pre study material CAE provides or would I be better served studying for the ATP written itself.

Thanks

If you haven't received any responses... The CAE program is mostly a qualification event. Really nothing to do with the ATP written. Spend the time on Sheppard Air for the written and just enjoy the time in Dallas for what its worth. At least you'll see a jet sim for fun

Last I checked you can still buy a Challenger 850, so I'd wager that the 200 is still being built...
