This is all on the 900 side. And we aren't forecast to get any more of those anytime soon. Can't see what 200 open time and reserve staffing looks like, but I imagine its even more fat since there are 14 more of those coming in the immediate future.

Does someone know something the rest of us don't?

I don't like how we are indirectly responsible for gutting some other regionals, like XJT, but it kind of feels like we are being staffed for the eventual regional consolidation that we've been hearing about for the last couple years.

Super short on the 200
Lots of 200% and rsvs get used every day.

Has anyone else heard negotiations have stalled due to the company having no problems hiring? Or any updates whatsoever from the union?

Last fast read said negotiations resume the first week of February if I recall. They broke negotiations to spend January running cost analysis of codomicile, bonus to pay rate swap, and other items.

CTP coming up at CAE. Any thoughts on the value or knowledge gained from the course? New to 121, but I've heard mixed reviews from peers at other regionals on the CTP as a whole. Would it be worth doing the pre study material CAE provides or would I be better served studying for the ATP written itself.

Thanks

Super short where? Seems like there isn't anything in DTW or MSP for 200FOs.

Dtw cpj capt. And flown with a few fos that are on rsv getting used every day while they delay flights for them as they are out of rsvs.

Thanks Wiggy, I haven't gotten a fast read in a long time. Guess I need to check my spam

Just found it: Dec 23 fastread actually says resume meetings with company January 9th after doing costing the first week, so I misspoke, they'll resume next week.

The course is great for taking you away from your family so you have no distractions when studying for the ATP written.

Idk about being fat on pilots. Seems to be the complete opposite every time I log in to FLICA and look at the reserve grid. This time of the year flying slows down. That'll change with spring break and also when the summer hits.
