Speaking of uniform allowance, I don't want to get that heavy luggage works. Does anyone use the Aurora Elite 22? Stealth Air 22? Executive 22?

Do what I did and put them on your flight jacket.

Luggage Works Executive Aviator 22" Rolling Bag

I love it! Much cheaper and a hell of a lot lighter. I've had the steel frame version and I think this one with the plastic frame holds up just as well.

I use the stealth air 22". Haven't had any issues with it yet and I've had it for 2 years. Holds everything I need for a 5 day trip. I hear the plastic frame is just as good but I'd go for the metal especially if you're commuting. With DL overselling flights or being full most of the time you'll check your bag a fair amount as a commuter.

It's time to return to the 1 hour report and 30 minute release times... and 2 hour callout for DTW and MSP since it's now taking that much longer with the new bussing policies. My last trip started with a DH and it took me 10 minutes just to find an open spot on the non AOA side, and that was 3 rows from the AOA turnaround bus stop. That became a fun walk in the cold. They shouldn't have reconfigured the lots the way they did if they were going to force 75% of the employees using it into the non AOA busses, and they need to increase frequency as well then.

When are we as a nation going to stop giving up our liberties in the false premise of security? This country is woefully lacking in learning from history. Yet another hassle that does absolutely nothing to improve safety.. if anything it's one more step toward ****ing someone off to the point of snapping and then we're all even LESS safe. I'd rather an FA happily run a brick of weed on her free time than be bitterly disgruntled and sabotage the plane (think the Compass chap that lit the lav on fire)

Wow....
It sounds like you ought to run back to the Kentucky woods to get off the grid and escape the "man"

So you believe TSA does anything, let alone the joke of security that was being used in the bus stops?

They make sure our finger nail clippers don't have a 3/4" blade in them instead of the nail file. Grab our peanut butter when out of uniform. Toss our bags looking for something, not quite sure what. Then the give us a machine that flies at 600mph, with 8000 pounds of fuel on board, with an axe in the flight deck.

I don't know about the "joke" that was security in the bus stops, never went through it. I do know the general sentiment of avroman's posts and the central theme of being personally screwed by management/government/schedulers/etc...
I'm not defending the TSA, just letting the constant "poor me" posts get under my skin
