I was wrong...I asked a better source and skywest is also losing AOA access. Damn that NON AOA side parking is too tiny. I hope crews don't show up any earlier and if delays occur then so be it.

My drive to DTW is long enough as is. The non AOA bus is going to be quite the change for those on reserve.

Have you ever walked from the second AOA stop to the non AOA side? Yes it is all connected, but functions as two lots due the the road and fence running down the middle.

Anyone hear about one of our -200s being struck by lightning and diverting to PVD last night? Destroyed the radome!

I guess those lightning strips worked as advertised then. Glad they got it on the ground safely.

How does the uniform allowance thing work? Do I just go to a stop over store after January 1st and select items from crew outfitters and tell them my employee number or something?

it was pretty cappy up here in the northeast. Currently stranded in BGR. Flew it in last night for a high mins capt. Was right at mins and xwind. Runway code 2/2/2. We had st. Elmos fire on descent in too.

That is correct. If you have any unused from 2016 you can't touch that until midway through January due to counting or inventory or something.
