Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

If you would; elaborate for me here, keep in mind I still have my regional flying cherry. All I hear from people in the industry is how the staffing shortage is causing regionals to leach or steal from others. So at one point here they are suggesting a ramping down of the number of regional carriers. So, with intuitive thinking, it leads me to believe that wholly owned carriers would have the edge here in terms of stability. How many Delta new hires are coming from 9e versus street hires; so to speak?

"In contrast to the SSP news, other events this week offer the first opportunity for meaningful contract improvements in several months. The Negotiating Committee received a response yesterday to an MEC proposal, and the package being developed could secure long sought after quality-of-life improvements for ALL of our pilots – commuter and domicile dweller, reserve and lineholder alike – while allowing the company to grow by continuing to hire and train pilots at a pace not seen at our airline for many years."

But neither of these fix the problem. Sure, if Republic et al fold, there's a surge of qualified pilots on one side of the equation, but a huge addition in flying hours to fill the vacuum left on the other. If anything, a failure of a Regional makes matter worse, because there will be a 2 month period when training dpts are overwhelmed.
Republic merging with a WO on the other hand...
Rescinding the 1500hr rule too, simply sucks a years worth of CFI's up but does nothing to replenish the pool. It's like the 65 rule, simply punts the problem out a little.
I've watched a couple of videos of incredibly excited kids boarding Aircraft in the last few days; our industry still inspires and, if we can raise the compensation/QoL bar and support the enthusiastic newcomers we could snatch victory from the current jaws of defeat...

My take from the latest management spewfest was they are counting on 2 things to keep staffing this place..... #1 short term, Republic filing bankruptcy and or shutting down, causing a large short term flood of qualified bodies. #2 longer term, success lobbying congress to change the ATP / 1500 hour rule to allow them to hire basically fresh out of college pilots again. Short of that, nobody is going to have enough bodies at the regionals without paying comparable to the LCC airlines, and that's not possible with the (flawed) business model the regionals operate in.

Is it pretty easy to credit over guarantee on reserve? I start in Nov and will be taking a 12k paycut with the bonus included and it's looking like the minimum salary will just cover my fixed expenses with nothing left over for food.
