Again, just looking at the FO side, but DTW 200 went down 8 lines and RSV went up by 1. The 900 gained 13 lines and 10 RSV.
Am I missing something here that portends doom for us?

Detroit had 900 captain TDY's come from them 4 out of the last 5 months. This month there are non. Which explains the extra block hours. From August till now the block hours have been reduced. And if you compare all lines in Detroit and Minnie from a year ago you can plainly see a drastic reduction in Endeavor flying out of theses hubs. Heck there hasn't been a primary or secondary vacancy awarded for 900 CA since 16-02. And many people have left for either other airlines or changed bases. Just look at 16-06 for example and you'll notice Detroit 900 CA shrunk by 10 again. All I'm saying is it would be nice if they'd communicate how much smaller they plan on making it. And to say they don't know is BS.

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation. I was only looking short term.
The new rumor is they are shrinking us so they can afford to drop the bonus and pay $85K FO pay.

Once we have NYC filled the GoJet flying will start coming back to us, as long as we keep the hiring going. Had we been able to staff the fly NY GoJet flying and our DTW flying staffed we would have kept both. The 700 program will reboot and that flying will come back to us, the GoJet move was a temporary solution to keep things operating at 100% while a permanent solution is reached. Looking forward management sure seems to be making an attempt to increase QOL while this transition is happening. Allowing us to commute in during on call time, the ready reserve elimination test on the 900 in JFK, staying lenient on the call in honest rules. The QOL here is still much, much better that at so many other carriers. I left one to come here and while NY hasn't made me happier, the QOL is no where near that of the other carrier, and if you really want to see made go to MESA.

Hahah!
Yeah ready reserve being eliminated, better vacation pay, OT 150%, bidding timeline moving forward, retention bonus, Flica, etc etc etc.
Give me a break.
I'm sorry DTW and MSP have shrunk. We are in fact a contractor. We go where the work is. No base is safe in the regional world.
