Long call so reserve goes senior.
Wow. Lets all look the other way when our co-workers pass the buck by not doing their job properly.

Voicemail does not count. This has been an issue on and off again for 10 years. Every 6 months like clockwork they start up again. No offense to the new guys but thats free money you all are getting by not filling out a grievance.your reps can tell you how.

So easy a caveman could do it. Basically free beer for a month on the company. Your milage may vary

Yea you need to let the union know about this one. I haven't had any issues but they can get carried away sometimes with things like trying to notify you through the captain or other silly things.

Haha you need to learn the contract!!
You don't have to call them back if they leave a v.m. Acars yes. Vmail no.
Until they pay your phone bill you will never have to call them back once you're on a trip.

Is it true that Endeavor does not accept the 100hours of allowed sim time under the new R-ATP mins?

If said sim time was under 121, 135, 141 or 142 yes they do accept it.

Autopilot? EDV has those??? And what's this nonsense about a CA spinning knobs? You mean I don't have to do it all by myself while he stresses over frequency changes? Man, have I been snookered!!

Relatively few flights I have been on have the AP on at 600'. But safety folks say yn the 200, about 6% of all flight time is accomplished without the AP on. On the 900, that drops to about 3-4%. Not a huge amount of hand flying, by any means.

That is the minimum engagement height.
In the thousands of hours I have here I'd say that maybe 20 percent of the time it is called for right at 600.

I had a CJO at Envoy earlier this year. Chose EDV. Would do it again today. The SSP and DGI and flow are all the same in my mind. Not worthless, but nearly so. If it takes me 6 years to move up in this environment, I should be driving a truck instead. The stagnation folks faced the last 10-15 years is gone. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather go to a LCC in the next 6 months than wait 6-8 years for DL or AA.
