The XJ flow was created outside of section 1 northwest airlines scope. The XJ one was a gift because northwest was an egalitarian group who thought regional v mainline was a joke. Moak (delta mec) gifted the flow to (almost) everyone above the two reps votes he needed to be national MEC chair. *shrug* at least some mesaba guys got to move on naturally, even if it was moaks greed. Too bad the MEC chair and vicechair weren't the two most junior pilots at mesaba.
No guy you take a nap...If you think for one second ALPA isn't responsible for all this shi!t you haven't been in the industry long enough. Oh and

After that long nap, will you please pull your head out of your arse! Key word NO UNITY! Regional pilot demand is higher than its ever been in years, but yet we are still being paid peanuts! LOA 100,768 put us in the ballpark. Now it's time to advance further.

You are thinking of the return to works (separated and returned) who are getting longevity to return. Different group of pilots.
My apologies, I misunderstood. *returns to the corner*

This is important as it could happen to any of us for any reason, I believe
including withdrawing.

Heard a rumor that XJT would be taking our 900s next year because we can't staff them... coming from the XJT/SKW side of things. What are they putting in the water over there?

That's a cute rumor. But aren't we the ones covering their flying when they can't come through.

Meanwhile we are staffing extra reserves to cover the rest of DCI's cancellations (in some cases flying that was taken away from us to begin with)... Nice rumor there, try again.

Once a lineholder, are you able to drop/trade trips and kind of make your own schedule?
My YV December schedule is not great and trying to drop and trade is fruitless because the reserve coverage is red every day, so everything is denied.
It'd be nice to work someplace where that wasn't an issue...,,

You'll often find the same problem here although we do have "worst day worse" language that allows you to make the trade if a day you are picking up has worse reserve coverage than any day you are dropping.
