ATL would be very senior in the left seat and likely very junior to the right. In the end, recruiting would be able to offer all but west coast as easy commutes in a quick award. Seats in both the left and right would be open for upgrades, new hires, and junior CA's wanting home or westerly, and the base discussion of "another carrier has an ATL base" gets dropped from the pro/con list.

Bonus into industry leading payrates (new hire bonuses still remaining)- negotiations start dec 5 2016
EFB's- coming Q1 2017, LOA being lined up already
Co-domicile NYC- post efb
Commuter language for cost and QOL- works post EFB implementation, Q2 17
Reserve changes for QOL- test program dec 2016. Rolling out Q1 2017 if all goes well
Dual qual-post rev 4, coming Jan 17'
Southern base- look at cpa's from other carriers. Q2-4 17'

Solely personal opinion, with input from those who know what's up in multiple areas of alpa and company...but that's the next 12-18 months at EDV. All good things with operational savings and pay/QOL enhancements.

So dual qual is pretty much a done deal? Thanks.

You might want to get a more informed source?

If Dual Qual is so close, would the seat locks still remain?

As always, the advice is to bid where you want to be and not where you think you could be.

Default PASS travel benefits

Been looking into how this works and was just wanting clarification on how the system works.
-I see mention of "qualified children" but bit exactly what "qualifies". My situation....I have 5 kids aged 16, 21,21, 23 and 25. Also, for parents....is there a dependency requirement or just as long as they are my parents.
-I'm assuming there are limits as to how many trips are available but couldn't find that either.
-I understand the differences between the non Rev and low fee fares.

I know they'll probably tell us all this in class but I was just wanting to get it straight before I go in January.

Thanks for your time

- I believe the max age for children is 24 or 25. No dependency requirement for parents, just parents. You get up to 4 parents, so you can use step parents but no in laws.
- Not sure what your asking on the last 2 bullets though.

It's probably been covered already, but could somebody either post or PM me some crash pad options for JFK? Thanks in advance.

If you're assuming there's a cap to the number of trips you or your pass riders can take, there's not. Fly to your hearts content - so long as there are seats available AND it doesn't inhibit your ability to report for duty.

And regarding the first point, non-dependent children will pay yield fare, which is something like 4-5 cents per mile flown. I talked with the Pass Travel gal during ground school and she said a non-dependent would pay something like $40 to go from DC to MSP (ballpark example). Just need to prove financial dependency or enrollment in university to qualify as a "dependent".
