I for one understand some of the building frustration, and if they don't stay competitive with what American's doing they won't even get the 30-40 a month that they're getting now. What will you tell me I'm not understanding then?
Like I said a few pages back, I lost two referrals that had class dates with us in the past month. Their reasons to turn down our classes were no flow and they don't want NYC. I know my anecdote is a microcosm, but there are surely others.

I hear ya and totally agree with ya. But your post wasn't the one that I quoted. The one I quoted basically suggests paitience. Meanwhile we are becoming less attractive to new pilots. Which is what you reinforced. Sorry about your referrals

Sorry if I came off the wrong way. I was just echoing the point you made about becoming less attractive.

Every pilot that turns us down, every new offer another airline makes, just gives us more to push for. We've now maxed our pay per LOA, and AA WOs have matched it, and have a flow. Next move?

I just can't see Delta offering a flow. They've already turned down a lot of pilots with the SSP. How do they now tell these guys "I know we told you to go to United but now you are welcome to flow... sorry about making you wait and miss out on 3000 seniority numbers here but hey welcome aboard!" I mean do they say "sure everyone can flow except those that interviewed in the SSP?" I'd bet that would be great for morale around here

This question was asked in recurrent. The answer was that Northwest took Mesaba flows that were turned down before. Not sure if it's relevant to the current situation but that was the argument.

I don't know why this flow argument keeps going on and on. The chances are slim to none we will ever see it.

There's a lot they can do before that. They just need to get off their _____s

There were only a few people that Northwest interviewed from Mesaba before the flow. It was a general rule that NWA wouldn't poach from it's regionals, much like the worst way to get an interview at FedEx is to be working for any of their feeders. They certainly didn't interview well over half of the pilot group, turning down half, then say "ok let's have a flow" I forget the number of people hired from Mesaba right to NWA but it was a handful (low double digits) Flow was a complete departure from the old ways at NWA.

Did anyone see the email the chief pilot sent out? After I wiped my eyes from laughing so hard I only have one question: what accident?

But but but.... that's where Mesa's delicious FA's stay. What could go wrong? Who better then 9E to introduce them to the airline lifestyle?
