Just my opinion, but I hear my Enjoy friends complain constantly about the schedules, whereas I've always had good commutability on both ends. Envoy transferring their CR7 to PSA. 9E pay doesn't take a dip after year 1. I mean there's negatives at both airlines, but it's not like Envoy is leagues ahead of 9E. Better career progression to American. But no career progression to delta. At least you get an interview which is arguably the hardest part. And SSP numbers weren't amazing but they weren't 25% like some people say. The latest numbers are mostly second timers or those who procrastinated so they're the outliers. Look at the middle time frame pass rate. 60 to 70 ish percent. Not bad to be honest. To each their own. I still think 9E is the better deal, but that's with my desires for the lifestyle. Yours may vary.

Overall pass rate for the ssp was under 50%. The way I look at it some what of a big failure.

Just imagine telling Delta passengers that over 50% of their pilots are not good enough pilots to fly for Delta. I don't think that would go over very well.

Wanted to ask you some questions. Either here or PM if you would like?

The flow for a new hire today would be close to 10 years. Hardly a good deal, worthless really.

Experience or rumor? Hourly flights to LGA. I know the commute to DTW is crazy. I dead-headed on a 757 that was 90% pilots one day...

The numbers they advertise for the flow percentage at ENVOY is only for the top 824 guys on the seniority list. After that it drops (and they are allowed to lower it more if it hinders operations) to 35 percent until they get to anyone hired after 2014 it drops to "up to" 25%. These are not solid numbers. The flow really only benefits you if you have a DUI or no college degree. This is a marketing tool to get CFIs from UND to come so they can tell mommy and daddy they work at American Airlines. American Airlines is the oldest pilot group and also one of the fastest growing pilot groups, they have 2832 mandatory retirements through 2020, there's only 3500 pilots split between the 3 WOs. I'm willing to bet that AA is going to hire outside of the flow. The numbers don't add up. But by all means, hope in line, just don't spill any Kool-Aid on your brand new uniform.
