Each base its you and about 30-40 other pilots that give a damn enough to vote and show up. Does the union fail you or do you fail the union? Probably a bit of both. Personally I like the guys in there now, but I won't be here long enough to get to the next election. If you're military you wont be staying here long enough either, but you're welcome to try or stick around for a decade.

Just off the initial notices they asked for 275 upgrades so far this year. One more notice will come out before the end of the year.
And I believe the actual number of upgrades is a little higher. If it follows the same trend as the first 4 will put it very close to 350 for calendar year 16.

Yea it was supposed to happen about 14 months ago...this was a R.G. pet project because he wants no traces of the original pre merger airlines... meanwhile my paycheck continues to be from "Pinnacle" and numerous websites are still "Avro.MyMesaba.---" The only Colgan remnants are the Bloch award...

Hi everyone. Just joined the forum because something's been eating at me since I joined endeavor and I wanted to hear your opinions. I've been here around 9 months now and before you say it, I know I wasn't here for the dark times before. I know I haven't "done my time" here but I did my time in the military and just got out. I know there are union guys on here and I want to get your side of things too. It came to a head when I asked two different union guys recently about the new pay scale for the American regionals. What I was told by both of them was, to paraphrase, is that we have it better because their pay scale is full of all these different kinds of bonuses and that their flow is not true flow. Each conversation went on for about five minutes but that is the general idea of them. What I realized when talking to them is that, if I close my eyes and listen, it sounds like the company was talking to me and trying to convince me of how good I've got it, instead of a union guy who represents me. Has anyone else had a conversation like this with a union guy recently? Does it seem to anybody else that the union is representing the company, and not the pilots?

My union lanyard went into the fireplace the moment I got home after looking at the bankruptcy pay scale that had FO's maxing out at 4 year/$37hr after being absolutely assured by the then negotiator that the FO pay scales wouldn't be touched.... Fo's voted overwhelmingly yes, by taking the "bribe money" longevity payout and quitting...

If the talk of the new DL TA on the Majors forum is proving anything... seems like playing hardball these days works.
