While it's the end of August to the hiring process has had sim delays and caused a bit of a "funk" in movement when looking at pure hire dates. Realistically, most spots will be 2-3 months of reserve once hitting the line for an FO. M9F and D9F may be a little longer with guys living in base coming over from the -200 to -900.

Just keep the realities in line with the big picture. Things are going well, but the training bubble output is just now hitting the line.

Welcome to the new hires!
Exactly! The movement is just getting started.

I was speaking from the August DTW200 FO lines... although in August we had nearly 30% of the pilots on rsv for that month. For Sept I'm tdy to Minny, so I haven't even bothered to look at DTW. Sounds like they decreased the amount of rsv to something reasonable for Sept.

pretty much sums it up...however I'd be here (and holding a line) had everything been done date of hire, no fences, no quotas... so what's your point?

Are you eligible for the reduced ATP? If not, ask again in 600 hours... no need to get worked up about it now.

willflyforfood.com has accurate interview gouges.

Aviationinterviews.com has all the info you need. Just relax, be yourself, and know that they want to hire you! I just finished training a little while ago if you have any questions about the process. So far Its been a great company to work for.

So it's not necessarily as bad as it looks. Again, that's just from a quick glance.
I know when I can hold a Dtw 900 FO line I'll bid over, and so will others. I'd expect the 900 to stay senior for a while. We are all flying the 200 because of quick movement, not that we want to fly a non-FADEC, single class, crappy overnights, 5 leg a day jet because we prefer it....
