At least a few positions in every base and in both airframes were available to new hires as of this last bid. I would expect this to be the trend for upcoming classes as well.

Worthless ALPA needs to reconsider reserve schedules. Latest email stating how can we improve line holders QOL? Really???go fuK yourself. How about helping the pilots that have PAID THEIR EFFING DUES LONGER AND STILL ARE GETTING SHARTED ON! So let's help out some fellow ALPA PILOTS with their 18 days off a month. Again go fuK yourself!!! 11 plus years 11 days off...sh!ts corrupt

Unbelievable...can't wait to leave this place..seniority doesn't matter

I feel your pain. I don't know which is better. 8 year fo line holder earning $hit money and can't even support his family or 11 year captain earning a little better then $hit money on reserve for life.

I totally agree. Why should ANYONE get 19 days off a gotdamm month when you have 30% of the pilot group on reserve? Shytt is criminal.

Just wait until you get 20 years in. Then you can have 19 days off and bum regional pay.

better yet crap schedule crap pay and best part reserve threshold so high you can't trade or drop trips because ever day is under staffed hahaha what a joke!!!!!

The first month I was eligible to was June and I have a line in September. So 3 months of reserve w/ DTW CRJ 200. I am fairly certain that I'll still get a reserve line at some point in the near future.

That email sent shutters through my spine also. I think it would be wiser to call your rep and let him know your feelings, maybe don't be quite as blunt. If the company keeps new hires on reserve longer than needed so that long term line holders get better flexibility with schedule adjustments after the lines have been awarded the flow of new hires to Endeavor will start to fall off. While reserve lines are part of "paying your dues" in the airlines, the longer people are on reserves and the longer upgrades take the fewer applications you will find being turned in.
