Well you'd definitely have a better chance at int'l flying at UA than at DL if that's your thing.

This is the slide to look at from UPS.

Delta has almost every pilot 1 to 2 pay grades below someone sitting in the same position at another airline.

If that's your bag.. More power to ya. I wouldn't fly freight for 400/hour.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but how can a specific base/equipment be seven pilots below buffer. Yet somehow there is no open time reserve days to be found?

I would love to hear an answer to this too.
It seems that the company is using the reserve grid to block ppl from being able to improve their schedule

Too funny. When the DL chief came to our indoc he freely acknowledged the fact that hats were optional at 9E and said it was the same policy when he was at Northwest. Then he went on to say how some of the newer FOs at DL were getting talked to for not wearing hats at mainline.

Also, Ready Reserves takes away from the reserve grid. I dont get it, ready reserves are reserves sitting reserve. But the company considers them to be on assignment. You cant be any more reserve then a ready reserve.
