Huh, I could hold a line right now JFK 900 if I commuted from DTW. Or commute on the 200 with everything at 200%. It's so tempting. DTW FO 900 is looking good right now too with the 10 open spots.

What do you guys think. Hold a line at JFK and pick up 200 flying at 200% or swap to the 900?

If I were you, there is no way I'd be commuting when I live in base.

I couldn't honestly tell a friend to come here right now unless they want to live in new york.

Hundreds of pilots commute to LGA/JFK and do it with a decent QOL.

Most of the people in the NY bases commute. It's not mandatory to live there. Your advice should also say live in DTW or MSP if you consider living in base mandatory. Personally I wouldn't want to live in any of our 3 base cities.
Good thing commuting is an option.

Wow you must have it pretty tough. NY is a easy commute for most but I do agree that the company could and should address the start and end times in our NY bases to make them more commutable for our junior line holders.
