I'm faintly curious. Was this supposed to be funny by chance? Or was it...what was it, anyway? Probably the dumbest thing I've ever read in all the regional threads and that, I dare say, is an achievement and a half, sir.

You're half right. Sort of.
CMR never had seniority numbers at mainline. Ever.
They did (kind of) sue for a seniority grab, but did so indirectly. Technically it was about "the process" not the list, but the purpose of the process was eventually one list, which you could almost argue was somewhat noble to a point. However the methodology used was to take the runway, reach V1, and then figure it out. That put everything from DOH to relative to staple on the table from a theoretical standpoint, yet of that was directly linkable to them at the time.
So they never had numbers. But they thought they were going to get numbers, and they were coopted by greedy ego maniacs who though the noble "process" would get them a staple as a floor regardless, and likely closer to relative or DOH with nothing to lose.
Water under the bridge and not entirely relevant to Endeavor, though there may be some degree of overlap from a mentality perspective, I don't know.

We are getting a bonus right now of $23K, but certain pilots want to turn it into an hourly pay raise. The problem is that this creates a pay cut for some pilots who are forced on reserve. Delta wasn't even going to give the bonus to captains until they were nice enough to do it. Now suddenly everyone is entitled, and making demands.

Now that situation was absolutely greed. Hell if they offered a staple (not saying they will) I'd take it hands down! You would be stupid to ask for more.

Numbers that I've heard were mid 40s for first year along with a sign on bonus that would keep first year pay at 50kish. Second year around $55-$57 per hour. It would be a 12/4 scale and the union wants to top Republics captain 12 scale.
All rumors though

I am faintly curious also. Are you a jerk in person or do you just post like a jerk. This is what I heard just passing it along.

You've been at Endeavor how long? Of course you would take a staple. Why would someone with 15 years seniority doing the same flying as another pilot at another ALPA carrier want and/or agree to be stapled behind someone with 1 month of seniority? Not everyone is 26 and still living in their parent's basement and can afford the seniority hit. There is a reason the SSP participation rate was so low. Comair was probably right at the time to try for more and so would any other airline getting bought by another airline. And this is why there will never be a staple or a merger of a regional into a major airline.

The only people I know that write Haha over and over live with their parents. You don't appear to be any different. Good luck with your staple. . .
