I just brought a 200 out of OKC on Saturday that had just finished it's heavy check after two years in the desert. We had 5 write-ups by the time we got it to DTW and we burned/lost 1300lbs of fuel over plan on the way home. The MX guys have their work cut out for them and I can't even begin to imagine how expensive it is to get these things serviceable again. I hope at some point soon we cut our losses and just start operating 700's for the 200 market.

Newhire jumpseating question.
In class now and was sort of confused when we are actually in CASS. The class answer was "when added to master crew list".
Just wanted to see what the time frame is.

Did they give you those KCM cards? Once you've registered those on mykcmsupport.com, you should be good. KCM and CASS apparently use the same database, so if you're in one you're in the other.
