Is there a way to know how many pilots are in each base and equipment? I was hired over 3 months ago on the 200 and I only have 2 people below me on LGA 200 but over 20 ppl below me for LGA 900. Seems like they will need more pilots on LGA 900 than LGA 200....
Thinking on switching to the 900 ... I want to hold a line as soon as possible

Simmer down its really not that serious. As mentioned before the MSP base isn't going anywhere as well as DTW. It may slow down for net hires but I don't think it's going to be impossible to go, and if lifers are what you're worrying about then going to Skywest isn't going to make it any better especially when it comes around to upgrade time.

Because NYC has worked out so well for Delta Connection carriers in the past...

The lifer bases here at 9E are the junior bases at OO. I'd be willing to bet that a new hire at OO today holds DTW captain before a newhire at 9E holds DTW captain. Or MSP for that matter. And that's where the source of discontent is, myself included.

Well this got doom and gloom real quick.
It's one vacancy guys.
Yes, NYC is expanding.
Yes, that means there is a shift around in the network here.
MSP and DTW are going to become stagnant for a while. But that is the nature of the business. Give it some time. Let NYC build up through next summer, and see where that leaves us. The company is hiring a ton of pilots which makes me think once we are staffed in NYC, those of us that want out esp. on the FO side should probably be able to hold it. And the sentiment that the only expansion this place sees is GoJet going out of business I think isn't quite right. There is plenty more in play down the road. SkyWest, Shuttle, Compass, all of these contracts will expire. And some of them won't get renewed. Put simply, there aren't a lot of DCI carriers that are actually forecast to get more flying. And we absolutely are forecast to get more flying.

Have to disagree here 200 schedules suck plan and simple. Looking at top guy in DTW 200 has 15 days off and top 900 guy has 18-19 off same goes for NYC! unless you judge QOL as a $5 pay cut and working more! 900 is a better route, besides the fact that they arnt bringing anymore 200's from the desert!
