Things for us are looking good, we've got folks moving to Delta and elsewhere, upgrades still moving along, performance looking great, and plenty of folks showing up to class and hitting the line.
Any guys moving on to United, from Endeavor?

I know if we wrap up sim training after the 10th of the month we get a build up line. Have guys going through 900 transition training that finished after the 10th of the month getting actual flying on their build up lines or are they getting reserve lines? Also does anyone know if the 2 FTD and sim sessions are right after the ground class or is there a break?

61 new hires were scheduled for July, 62 for August, and 57 already for September. Last few classes have been heavy on the 900 and NYC side

Talking to folks in a June class, DTW 900 went junior, so NYC isn't a foregone conclusion. I'm willing to bet once NYC is up and running we will see more balanced placement. Also, lots of FO CJOs in MSP and DTW who will start moving on this autumn.

@seminole, I'll check with my buddy who went through it on 16-01, but he seemed to go into sim/FTD soon after class and I think his buildup was actual flying. Have fun on the 'heavy' with those crew meals, and never forget your roots! I said I'd stick to the 200 for a year before considering a switch. QOL is still better at my seniority so not worth a jump just yet.

You should get a line with actual flying if your seniority allows for it. Are you in class that starts Monday?

Ha i can't imagine how much more weight i' going to gain eating those meals. I stuck it out on the 200 for a year and definitely enjoyed it. It's an awesome airplane to me and once you learn all the tricks about it flying it is a piece of cake. I'll miss the seniority but with all the new hires coming into the 900 I shouldn't really be a difference for me. I'm glad its AQP now though.

Yeah I feel you. I'll consider it down the line, had no prior 121 so it will take me time to upgrade. Didn't really want to go off the line for training but as its now AQP that should reduce the time. A few junior to me are switching, I'll watch their lines. When it comes to upgrade, 200 seems much better than 900 outside of NYC so I'm fine flying the jet I hopefully upgrade in.
