Are those from the April class waiting for their MV in the 200? Seems like the 900 is moving without much delay...

They're changing the bidding process for new hires, so I'm not sure how it will be in the coming future. With that said, age will determine seniority in class, and classes will most likely continue to bid aircraft preference (900 or 200), and then domicile from first pick to last (MSP, DTW, JFK, LGA). The company will then most likely match your desires up to what's available, and what you can hold...

Even if they roll newhire bidding into a standing bid, you'll still pick a/c and base preference.

Depends what is available during the bid, and what you can hold... LGA/JFK is junior right now, with 3/4 of classes going to the 900, and the other 1/4 to the 200. Upgrade is possible around 12-18 months, but 24 months seems more realistic (depending on base and aircraft, mind you).

Endeavor's plan for now is 24 months as FO, 24 months as CA, then off to big "D" via the DGI program...

I know of only two guys from the April 25 class on the 900 side that have finished their LOE's. There are 3 from the 200 side that finished LOE last week.

This is still a 121 upgrade! Newhires are still at the same rate for washouts. Nothing new or exciting there.

Didn't experience this at all in class. Nor did any other classes that I saw.

In my class (May 9th) we graduated on Friday and some of the 900 guys were already in the FTD Monday morining. I started the following Thursday so 6 days for me. (I was one of the youngest on the 900 side so longer wait)

The 200 guys had a longer wait. The eldest on the 200 side was about 1-2 weeks wait and some of the younger guys had about 3 weeks wait. This is from completion of ground school to starting FTD.

My sim schedule was about 3-4 days on and 3-4 days off.

Oh, and on a side note I have a friend of mine from the April 11th class 200 that I caught up with in training! O.o

During IOE, does the company schedule our positive space flights and hotels/stays or do I need to arrange a crash pad and non-rev myself?

I finished IOE over 2 weeks ago and have been flying on reserve every day and picking up Open Time too. -April 11 class 900 LGA.
But yes, something as simple as repeating a Sim can put you back several days, add holidays and seat support Wx and days could turn into weeks. Scheduling always were, and continue to be Excellent.

OE is training. You're 'in base' but the company provides overnights at outstations. You'll get positive space to and from your home. As i mentioned above, OE scheduling -all scheduling have been nothing but fantastic throughout.

Nope, I literally just called OE scheduling to see if this was true and they will not do positive space after the LOE.

Ok, what's the difference between LOE and OE?

LOE is the last sim session for your type rating, OE or IOE more specifically is the minimum 25 hours in the aircraft with check airman during revenue flights.
