Where do you go to bid for TDY?
The info is in the early bid package in the pilot bidding section of the site (not PBS). Instructions for bidding TDY are in the Early Bid Package file. PM me if you want more details.

Thought the DL 401K is not a match, but a direct contribution, regardless of pilot input?

Having an interview in the very near future with Endeavor, I am just wondering the bad stuff that goes on here.

I've been here six months...seems like arguing about hats must be our bad stuff!

Yes I believe that is actually correct... Unlike here where you must put away 10 to get a max of 5% there I believe that they get a full contribution % with no need to match... that's a lot more that can go toward retirement than we can now get. It was a way management tried to tell our lifers to leave.... it (for the most part) didn't work

Naw, you aren't the ***hole. Probably no one will ever say anything. We'll just make fun of you when you sit in Ops for an hour slurping up your lunch with your hat on the whole time. True story.

Twenty Two (22) Captains from JFK 900 CA

Estimated Number of Pilots eligible to be awarded TDY:

Two (2) Captains to MSP 200 CA
Six (6) First Officers to MSP 200 FO
Sixteen (16) Captains to MSP 900 CA
Twenty Two (22) Captains to LGA 900 CA

The 900 Captain seat is way out of skew at the moment. Yet 16-02 added captains INTO DTW and now 16-03 is adding MORE captains INTO JFK, what's up with that? I suppose it's a pretty good deal for commuters, but makes a mess of monthly bidding expectations.
Drawing from JFK and DTW to staff up LGA and MSP (am I reading that right?). How many pilots overall are based in DTW vs MSP vs NYC? Shrinking the DTW footprint makes me nervous as that's where I'd like to move after initial training.

For August, yes. The current vacancy out just has openings on both planes in the New York bases. Any movement into DTW or MSP would have to be a secondary vacancy (filling a spot left by someone moving into an open New York spot) Longer term we have been told that thanks to our great New York performance and GoJet's awful performance, our reward would be to basically be trading places with them.. Instead of them just having their flying cancelled they'd come into DTW and we'd take over their New York flying... some reward there, huh?
