Depending on the company needs it may be the first vacancy after you hit the line.

HA! "Give me more money!" What did you do the get this 100 days of 100% CCF? Well you didn't no show for a trip, you didn't call in sick, you answered the phone while on reserve and made your call time, if you're a line pilot you picked up open time at 150%. Honestly you did your job as contracted, or picked up overtime at a premium. Why would you deserve a raise for not calling in sick? At the moment you work at a regional who has the highest paid FO's in the industry, for the most part the highest paid captains in the industry, you already get a bonus for meeting performance standards, if you are an FO you have some of the quickest upgrade times in the industry. We have another 2 1/2 years of bonus left, smile be happy you're doing a good job and getting paid well to do it.

Really the guys making this happen are recruiting for getting us pilots so all trips can be covered, crew staffing, crew scheduling, and maintenance for keeping the birds up and flying.

While I don't think we deserve more money, you are wrong if you don't think pilots have played a part in this streak. Coordinating with dispatch to get broken birds home and taking extensions to avoid cancellations are two things that I have done in the past few months that have helped the cause. Heck, one flight where we diverted due to mechanical and we were already released we agreed to come back to the airport to fly the plane home. Contractually, we were on rest and the company has no right to ask us to do that, but we did anyway...

But no, you're right. Pilots have nothing to do with the success of an airline. We should all just sit quietly in the flight deck, right?

It's a team effort, all around. Management, in flight, flight ops, dispatch, crew scheduling, etc. All parts have to be in sync for stuff like this to occur
