Other bases I could see lines being held quickly....I could hold a line in DTW and not JFK which is mind boggling to me. As we get into winter months I expect reserve levels to further increase in NYC which is seasonally expected. That just means more getting oh so close to a line only to be so narrowly denied! lol

While we're talking about it, I'm curious what Skywest runs reserve levels at. I talked to an FO there that made it sound like they run really thin on reserves, which yeah, is nice for the pilot group. And don't know if they really incentivize picking up open time??? It would be a nice selling point to potential new hires if we were thinner on reserves and offered more consistent 200% pick ups...but maybe that is pie in the sky thinking. Even one 200% pick up day was noticeable in the paycheck and made my wife really happy.

And yes, I can understand that the captains are mad about the Bloch award. What's the countdown til that is over? Less than a year?
