Would scheduling be willing to work with you to switch from reserve 1 to reserve 2 for a 2 day reserve block?

I'm guessing you mean P1 to P2? That's not something they usually do. If you need to commute in the day of you can call a couple days before and request PM ready reserve on your first day and they should give it to you.

4/25 class was just offered the following:
DTW 900/200
MSP 900/200
JFK/LGA 900 only

They are trying to fill 900 slots in New York and 200 slots in DTW first.

Doesn't hurt to ask. I've had them switch before. It just depends what their needs are

Another question. As a 4 month FO still not awarded MSP, how are new hires able to get it?

If you bid it, you should have gotten it on 16-02.

That's just what we could pick. They said expect a 50/50 split between 900/200 and they will put us in New York or DTW 200 before anything else. I'm close to the bottom of the seniority list so some of the senior guys might get MSP but I know a lot of people will be bidding/selected for New York.

What does "positions primary and secondary not filled" mean? There are 9 secondary MSP 200 unfilled.

A secondary vacancy is a vacancy that opened up due to someone moving into a primary vacancy aka a MSP 900 FO upgrades to CA there would be 1 MSP 900 FO secondary vacancy created. The company has disgression whether to fill those or offer them to new hires
