FOs will move up to CA and that will create vacancies in other bases.

It's a nail-biting vacancy to say the least. I can't wait to see the initial. Perhaps many will withdraw. Perhaps it will be filled with only the newest in seat. Who's to say? Can't wait.

No, you need the f/o first in order for you to upgrade. Them are the facts, simple.

Any insight as to why a CNO line will only show 36 hours of credit on flica? (12 days off didn't drop anything.)

Will rainmaker show the guarantee 75 once it's updated?

I'm counting the days until we sink that ID. Good god why are we still even using it?

The TSA isn't going to fire you for using a yellow tag, they will get you for being on the ramp unauthorized. I don't commute, but I deadhead at least as much as a commuter commutes and this has never been an issue for me as long as I follow what I've typed.

I think by the letter of the TSA or SIDA law, that still doesn't work. Your badge only grants you access to the ramp in the course of your duties i.e. pre and post flight. Getting your yellow tag bag under a mainline jet does not fall under those duties. You are therefore no authorized to be on the ramp there. It talks about it in our recurrent sida training video. Do I think you'll get caught and fired, no. But I'm not willing to risk it.

It's because a reserve period (not ready reserve) has no daily credit if you're not used. You're still guaranteed 75 hours if you don't drop anything

And then if I pick up a trip say with 15 hours it goes onto of the 75 guarantee at 150% correct?

Correct but most reserves are already at min days off. So it is extremely difficult to pickup flying while on reserve.

I wouldn't say its "extremely" difficult. If you have at least one string of more than 2 days off, there's probably something (even if its just a turn) you can get added on to your schedule. I've done it the last 5 months in a row.

It makes for a busy month, but if you live in base and are money hungry...
