Nope, not him. Do they realize that the other majors and mini-majors are starting to scoop us up and won't be waiting for delta to get their act together? I'm all about loyalty but that goes both ways. From what you've said and what the MEC tool told me, it sounds like there's no loyalty coming the other way. Thoughts?

I talked to one in the crewroom the other day and he said, "just be happy with the $23000." I think he meant the bonus that everyone gets, but I wasn't sure what he meant because everyone gets that. He made it sound like it was special for us. It really didn't make any sense and I didn't want to waste my time explaining basic English to him, so I just discounted what he was saying as BS.
so much pushback from the pilots hired after the SSP and E to D that the union had to tell mgt that those pilots wouldn't accept it. Delta then basically told those pilots hired during that stretch to pound sand.

My understanding is that the company and the union had agreed to an ssp type interview that required 2years as CA at Endeavor. However there was

Yeah, I was told from a prior MEC guy (who's now at delta) that the uSSP plan was trucking along when 3, count them, 3 people said they didn't like it and it got canned. Since I was so new here at that time, I didn't know that it would've been in our best interest to email in and say that we liked the plan. We thought that we would be asked for our opinions before a decision was made. Unfortunately, the only people that phoned in were the 3 people who disliked the plan, so the MEC looked at it as 100%, took the easy and lazy way out, and canned it on the spot.

Then I guess they're not smart enough to realize that all the quality candidates will have been picked up by the time Delta gets around to hiring what's left?

Actually, they do care, so much so that if you don't do exactly what they say, they spite you.

that fed them. The MEC represents us, they did what the majority
of the pilots, (3 you say) requested.
I guess some of us didn't learn anything from the Comair pilots when
dealing with Delta mgt. They can play hardball.
