I was out on LI too up until recently and agree with this. JFK is somewhat more friendly for those that live on the east side of the rivers unless you live very close to LGA. The LIRR is great and I found that the traffic wasn't as bad on the south shore roads to JFK than the north shore roads (LIE) to LGA.
In other news, straight out of MSP in case I missed a previous post....no 700s...no Ejets...but now looking at end state 200 fleet being 65ish shells! Who loves the Barbie Jet?!

Compare this to a year ago, when flying was headed elsewhere. I'll take what we can right now.

There will be almost twice as much -200 flying in LGA in June than there is now. Don't know if they will make that a domicile. But if so, I think it will be posted on the upcoming AE. haha that's delta for vacancy. If it is not included then, then my guess is that there will be no -200 NYC domicile.

Most likely, people not living on the east coast want no part of NYC. Reserve will be short lived if substantial amounts of people keep coming through the door. The 200 will be your quickest path to holding a line.

Still too early to tell most of that. they haven't released specifics on how many lines either base will have. This will dictate number of crews/reserves required.
I'm surprised that they said the JFK 200 base will be larger than the LGA 200 base.

Exactly, considering right now there is very little 200 flying in JFK.
