Even if the those peeps are scumbags, do you really wish them to be busted down to private?

What operational differences does that create? Can you still use D-ATIS and PDC on the 200?

All the same features, same exact layout. Only difference is you can't print it. Less "cockpit origami".

For the record, I'm aware of at least one I'm more than happy to have back! Great guy, unfortunate circumstance.

The 900's have them, they're just in a stupid spot. I've seen other operators that have the printer on the center console where BOTH pilots can reach it. Expressjet for one. We even have a couple blank panels in that spot. Ours however are to the right of the FO where the paper jams if you don't move your Jepp book out of the way first 🙄.

Haha printers. As if there's a need for XJ captains to hang more paper all over the cockpit. Pasting the atis by the ISI just as the info is changing. It's funny. They display all that crap all over the cockpit and never even look at it.

Better than each pilot writing it down twice and not sharing. At least the same information is there for both

TOLD card. It's all there!

Some guys seem to want to fold enough paper to justify the dead trees, but I was never able to get the origami right. Either way, no printer is needed. There are always folks who want a million pieces of paper posted, I call them "tabs" and most deal in one or two "tabs" with the same info. As an FO, it's the chameleon game. As CA it's the needed info and letting the other side be themself. Personally, letting the person on the right work in their own way yields the best CRM, as decorating isn't my thing. All the important things I need to know are right in front of my face, because I spent 30 seconds writing it down.
