ROA (Reserve Officers Association) Reserve Officers Association | Reserve Strength. Reserve Life. has great information in the "Law Center" section for all Guard and Reserve members.
Thanks. I'm in a bit of a unique situation where I will be drilling with an active duty unit responsible for flight training. Because they fly every day I will have the option to choose which days I want to drill each month. Also I am given many additional drill days that most reservists don't have in order to meet certain flight hour minimums and currency requirements.

I will request drill days the month prior via the internet and once approved I assume I will let the company know which days I will be unavailable. I guess I'll learn that process when the time comes.

Just out of curiosity, what active duty unit?

VT-2. It's a US Navy unit responsible for flight training. Although I am a Marine the unit trains Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines. It likewise has instructors from these three branches as well.

I tried to make this a one word reply but the forum wouldn't let me.

As long as the person looking over your logbook can read it, and understand it, you are fine. You need to be able to account for your time. And, most importantly, the time needs to add up. If your day + night time don't equal total time, then you have a problem. Remember, these are APD's looking over your logbook. They are the ones who give you your checkride. Don't make them mad before you even get a chance to sit in the simulator with them.

Even mentioned a possible furlough ahead, I can't see how there is any truth to this.

Skywest pilots are floating around rumors of 9E losing flying and cutting jobs when were just started a campaign of 60+ month and pulling airplanes out the desert? Endeavor is putting together a 700s program, planning on upgrading 300-350 in 2016 alone, and I have heard countless positive rumors floating around the system, some posted here, some not.

Don't forget how Forbes wrote that article a little while back talking about how Skywest will be cutting 50% of their flying within the next couple of years. I don't recall seeing anything like that published about Endeavor...

I have a lot of friends at Skywest and the kool-aid provided is very strong. I think those people that say these kinds of things are the ones that interviewed here at endeavor didn't come and now they regret it. But hey let them talk about it while we get more airplanes !

What other CRJ?

I got friends that are surprised that endeavor is doing so well. I can't understand why people don't get that aviation is constantly changing. I guess it's the Skywest kool-aid

Or the fact that Endeavor's history is not good. The whole pinacolaba mess left a lot of people out to dry. Then with the rebrand...

The kool aid is strong everywhere... You are showing your greeness to this industry.
